Review of Imperio HotelDuring our recent family vacation, we chose Imperio Hotel given its proximity to the train station and the scenic river. As a history teacher, I often emphasize the importance of location, and this hotel did not disappoint. Its convenient access to the railway made day trips, especially to the enchanting Douro Valley, enjoyable and stress-free. The check-in process was straightforward, allowing us to settle into our clean and comfortable room without delay. The amenities catered to families well, particularly with the breakfast options-while the food was basic, the toaster provided an opportunity for our daughter to create her own toasted sandwiches, sparking her culinary curiosity. the hotel's location allows for easy exploration of the area, including the Old Railway, which boasts fine dining options-a delightful experience for the whole family. Special mention goes to the strong shower pressure, a refreshing way to start our days.
